Temporary Bridges
Pre-Girder BridgeHirose Bridge Series
The Pre-girder bridge is an assembled plate girder bridge. Because it is a lightweight, strong, and durable structure, it has come into wide use as a bypass route when replacing obsolete bridges, as a construction road, and as an emergency bridge during restoration after disasters.
Characteristics
- The girders of a pre-girder bridge are light, so they can be assembled easily, which shortens the work period for installation/dismantlement.
- It can support live load A and B as well as special loads using a combination of four types of plate girders: type I, IC, IB, and II.
- The bridge length of 14 to 30 m is supported, and width can be designed in units of 2 m.

KD bridgeHirose Bridge Series
The KD bridge is a makeover of the unit bridge developed by the German company Krupp and has been designed to meet Japanese standards. By combining triangular trusses, it can be installed in locations with long spans. Because it is a lightweight, strong, and durable structure, it has come into wide use as a bypass route when replacing obsolete bridges, as a construction road, and as an emergency bridge during restoration work after disasters.
Characteristics
- Each unit component is small and can be transported by medium-duty truck.
- Type A, B, and special load can be supported by seven types of structure (Type E1, E1V, E2, E3, E3V, Z3, Z3V)
- Five types (through type) with bridge lengths from 12 m to 60 m and widths from 4 m to 8 m can be applied.

HS Truss
The HS truss has been developed as the support material for floor slabs. It can be used to support floor slabs with spans of 12 to 28 m and many other applications.
Characteristics
- Assembly and disassembly are easy, and work periods can be shortened because there are few joints, and connections are made by pins and bolts.
- A hanging ring is welded on the material to facilitate crane operation.
- Shoes are located on the side with upper chord members, which enables stable transport at the time of installation/dismantlement.
- Since the maximum length of the single unit is only 6.0 m, it can be transported by medium-duty truck.

Hi-BRIDGE Construction MethodHirose Temporary G-pilled Jetty Series
The Hi-BRIDGE construction method means that bridges can be built in less time by adopting the G bridge for superstructures and steel pipe piles for substructures.
Characteristics
- Achieving longer spans by the newly adopted G bridge
- Reducing support piles and saving vertical braces using steel pipe piles
- Using leased vertical brace by adopting HS truss
- Shortening work period by installing unit wrap

Hi-RoRo Construction MethodHirose Temporary G-pilled Jetty Series
The Hi-RoRo construction method means that bridges can be built in less time by adopting the G bridge for superstructures and pipe columns for substructures.
Characteristics
- Achieving longer spans by the newly adopted G bridge.
- Easier and safer installation by newly adopted RoRo brace member.
- Shortening work period by installing unit wrap.
