Silent Piler Method
(Hydraulic Press-Fitting and Extraction Method)
The silent piler method is a method to grab several piles (steel sheet piles) already pressed into the ground, and press in the next piles using the hydraulic static load generated from the extraction resistance as the reactive force. This method does not cause environmental pollution, such as noise and vibration, during construction and realizes space-saving and efficient work with a press fitting machine capable of self-propelling on the completed piles.
Characteristics
- Press-fitting and extraction of piles can be done without vibration, noise, and drilling.
- The press fitting and extraction can be performed by a single machine, which facilitates press fitting in corners and curves navigating automatically.
- Because the machine is operated by radio control, it is safe and requires fewer operators, which enables economical work.
- The lightweight, compact and standalone unit does not require assembly or disassembly. It is also easy to transport so that work can be started immediately.
- The pile length and drive stop height can be freely configured, which allows for infinite work ranges, including sites on water or with overhead obstacles.
- Perpendicularity and directions can be easily adjusted, which enables highly accurate work.
- Water jets can be easily set in combination with this method.
- Work using Super Trench 30, a model dedicated for lightweight steel sheet piles is also available.
- Work using models for steel sheet piles 5/6 is also available.
